About My Cup Runneth Over
"My cup runneth over." — Psalm 23:5
Welcome to My Cup Runneth Over — a faith-rooted lifestyle brand born from a deep belief that when we are filled with purpose, love, and grace, we can't help but pour into the lives of others.
Our Story
My Cup Runneth Over began as more than a brand — it began as a calling. Rooted in faith and fueled by a desire to make a difference, we set out to create products that carry meaning far beyond their design. Every item in our shop is a reminder that life is a gift, that community matters, and that even in the hardest seasons, there is beauty to be found.
This is very personal. I, Theresa Swaim, founder of MCRO, was diagnosed at the sweet age of 44- a young Black woman at the height of my career, newly married and on our way to becoming empty nesters. But, Parkinson's told a different story. This story had me leaving my career to go on disability; and, using up my retirement/ savings until my disability was approved. Then, my husband left me for another woman (one who wasn't suffering from a brain disorder). I felt helpless, and I didn't know what to do with myself. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I decided to bring awareness in a way that also benefitted me, where I would not have to rely on the government to take care of my needs. I uploaded my paintings pre and post Parkinson's, as well as photographs I have taken and would use my own creations for this print on demand business. And, well,
My Cup Runneth Over was birthed...
Parkinson's Awareness: Because It Looks Like Me
At the heart of our brand is a mission close to our hearts — raising awareness for Parkinson's disease. Our "Parkinson's Looks Like Me" collection was created to put a face to this diagnosis and to say loudly and clearly: Parkinson's doesn't look one way. It looks like me. It looks like someone you love. And, it may look like YOU...
Whether you or someone in your life is living with Parkinson's — including Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD) — we want you to feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Our apparel, accessories, and home décor are designed to spark conversations, build community, and remind every warrior that they are not alone.
A portion of our heart — and our mission — goes to the Parkinson's community. When you wear or share our products, you become part of that story too.
Quality You Can Feel Good About
We use a print-on-demand model, which means every product is made just for you — no excess inventory, no waste, and no compromises on quality. From soft, comfortable tees and cozy hoodies to beautiful mugs, scarves, bags, and home décor, each item is crafted with care and printed with vibrant, lasting designs.
This model also allows us to keep our collection fresh and meaningful, always adding new designs that reflect our faith, our mission, and the community we love.
More Than a Brand — A Community
We believe that what fills your cup should overflow into the world around you. That's why every purchase from My Cup Runneth Over is more than a transaction — it's a connection. A connection to faith, to purpose, and to a community of people who believe that love, awareness, and a little bit of grace can change everything.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in this mission. And thank you for letting your cup run over too.
With love and gratitude,
The My Cup Runneth Over Family
